The month of September will forever be known as SOCKTember! We are back for the 3rd Annual The DYOJO SOCKTember NEW Sock-Raising Competition.
Our local team - The Best DANG Sock-Raising Team in Pierce County - needs YOUR HELP. Collectively we want to beat last year's total of 66,000 pairs of NEW socks raised and donated to local charities and community centers.
We want to raise 100,000 pairs of NEW socks.
We started in 2020 with 4 teams in Washington State that raised 5,500 pairs of NEW socks. The Sisters for Socks, led by Lindsey Ward (Reliable Contents Services - Tukwila, WA) and Sarah Roberts (ServiceMaster of Tacoma, WA) have won back-to-back titles for SOCKTember 2020 and 2021.
Our team is led by:
Jon Isaacson - ARES Restoration (Puyallup, WA)
Diane Salz - Seattle Contents (Seattle, WA)
David Kean - Arken Restoration (Tacoma, WA)
Last year we lost by ONLY 4 PAIRS of socks as our team raised 8,502 pairs of socks with the help of great organizations and people including:
Graham Business Association
Edward Jones by Jimmy Morgan
Graham Auto Repair
The Puyallup/Sumner Chamber of Commerce
Delanos Coffee Roasters
The Collected Home
We would like to BEAT those Sisters for Socks and will need to raise AT LEAST 10,000 pairs of NEW socks to do so. You can help by:
